Shockers Hold Off Slayers

The Shockers rode on the wings of Daunte Culpepper and Randy Moss all season, and Big SCUFFLE III was no exception.  The Minnesota duo piled on the points, but the inspired play of Slayers running back Ahman Green kept the game close going into the Monday night game. 

The Rams played on Monday night, and there were several scenarios that could determine the Big SCUFFLE champion.  If Kurt Warner avoided throwing to Torry Holt, the Slayers could win.  If Holt had a big game, the Shockers would win.

As fate would have it, Warner connected most frequently with Shockers receiver Torry Holt, and when Holt scored a touchdown the game was put out of reach.
