Simian Stadium is an immense structure in the middle
of a brutal wet hot jungle. Teams will discover movement and existence
downright impossible in these conditions. It is said that many Bombarders
(see History) broke into uncontrollable sobbing
before they even entered the stadium. Torrential downpours and flooding
are not uncommon and are just some of the difficulties opposing teams will
face. Opposing teams are likely to be terrified by the Brigadiers,
some of the rowdiest warlike fans on earth, whose incessant screeching
drives all but the completely deaf mad.
Simian seats 52,000 but as the rabid fans rarely sit,
the stadium usually fills with twice that.
The surrounding area is teeming with Brigade fans and
the whole jungle is thumping during gametime. Despite the savagery
shown during the game, the post-game festivities are legendary for their
peaceful, groovin good time. Parties have been known to rage
for the whole week until the next game.
